Benny and Bea Lingle purchased Dewar's Hardware in 1962 and renamed it Skagway Hardware. Over the years, the floor space has doubled in size with the purchase of the building next door. A lumber yard has been added to the complex. Today, it maintains it's old time hardware store look inside with old banisters and wood floors. However, it serves the modern needs of the 800 locals and the 500,000 visitors that we see every year. Besides the core hardware and lumber supplies, we stock boats, motors, marine hardware, appliances, and electronics, including the new Dish Network Satellite Systems. We provide services and rentals along with the wide variety of goods that we sell. It's worth your time to come in and check us out.
